Wildflower Whispers Studio In the words of the artist and founder, Sheila Druist: Ever since grade school art classes, I've fallen in love with painting. For me, artwork is a healthy way to express myself. I love vibrant colors and bold texture, but I also see elegant beauty in subtle, muted color. My artwork is an adventure...constantly exploring new techniques, color palettes, subjects, and mediums. Wildflower Whispers Studio was born at the beginning of 2019. It had been simply a dream for so many years. Now, it is becoming reality. I am currently in college studying for a Bachelors in Psychology. My goal is to become a licensed clinical counselor and art therapist. Explore more about Wildflower Whispers Studio on their: |

Just 4 Fun Goat Soap My name is Alicia and I just so happen to be the one with the crazy vision of starting up this goat soap company. We live in a quiet, small, rural town where we have enjoyed raising our kids and growing our farmette. One of the main animals we raise are Nigerian dwarf goats. We originally purchased them as pets years ago. Later in life we found out that our daughter was lactose intolerant. Long story short, we milk them now. I have always tried to remain somewhat cautious about what we put into and onto our bodies, especially after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. This motivated me to dig deep into learning as much as I could about goat milk and its benefits. This has led me into my journey where I am now with making goat soap products! But now it's not just goat soap! We have been studying and formulating all-natural skin care products that can benefit the body and hopefully become healing as well. Mill Road Maple Mill Road Maple is owned and operated by the Brett Ford family. We work together to gather sap from approximately 1,500 taps in Fulton, Franklin, and Huntingdon Counties. Our sap is then processed in our sugarhouse at our home in Fulton County. In early January, our family taps over 1,300 Maple trees. As the temperature fluctuates above and below freezing, the sap starts to flow. When conditions are just right, the sap may run for a few hours or even several days which is called a run. By the end of March, we will have had between 6 – 12 runs of Maple sap. Each tap hole produces a season average of 10-20 gallons of fresh sap. During the busy season of sugaring, we are continually gathering sap and boiling it off in our wood-fired evaporator. On many days, the steam can be observed rising from our sugar house, taking 50 – 60 gallons of fresh sap to produce 1 Gallon of Pure Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Explore more about Mill Road Maple by visiting our store! |
